If you manually remove the linked asset from a device, the device record also appears on the Inventory Without Assets page. If you activate an ignored device, the device record disappears from this page and appears on the Active Inventory page. You can at anytime start managing an ignored device by linking it to an asset. The applications installed on ignored computers are not considered while calculating license compliance. A device can be ignored directly through the Ignore option, or indirectly when the linked asset is marked as Retired or Disposed. The Inventory > Inventory > Ignored Inventory page displays the inventory records of the devices that are ignored or linked to retired or disposed assets.
